Job Summary: 

  • The Marketing Coordinator for Adult Day Health Services is responsible for the development and implementation of plans to increase the daily census.  Responsibilities include developing, presenting, and closing qualified leads. 

Education/Experience/Personal Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2-3 years experience in sales and marketing
  • Enjoy working with seniors and their families.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with a consistent temperament
  • Must possess effective communication skills both written and oral.
  • Be able to function independently
  • Ability to use computer and strong organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuously develop leads and coordinate tours and guest days.
  • Develop a networking and community outreach program in order to obtain qualified leads and appointments.
  • Determine participant eligibility through assessments completed by the Interdisciplinary Team (Director of Social Services, Director of Nursing, Activities Director, and Administrator).
  • Determine financial qualifications for program participation and provide to the Director of Social Services.
  • Coordinate Veteran’s Administration documentation with the participant and their caregivers.
  • Coordinate all preadmission requirements, including but not limited to:  Physical Exam, Medical Plan of Care and Certification, Admission Interview Summary. 
  • Document all Marketing prospects, contacts and sources in database
  • Maintain confidentiality of all potential and active participant information
  • Present well-groomed, professional appearance at all times.
  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as within other departments within the facility.
  • Verbally communicate in a courteous, polite, and professional manner
  • Participate in all team meetings.
  • May be required to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
  • Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
  • Follows all emergency operations plans.
  • Adheres to all Human Resources and facility policies and procedures.
  • Follows established Infection Control Policies and Procedures and maintains Universal Precautions.
  • Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis.
  • Perform other duties as required, or as may be directed.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend and move intermittently throughout the day.  Is subject to frequent interruptions.  May be exposed to infectious waste and odors.  May be required to push/pull occupied wheelchairs.
